This course is designed for unqualified persons tasked with working around (not on) electrical equipment. Per NFPA 70E, unqualified persons shall be trained in, and be familiar with, any electrical safety-related practices necessary for their safety. Thus, in these terms, an unqualified person does not directly engage in electrical work, but may be engaged in other non-electrical work. This series of learning activities provides guidance on how to work around electrical equipment as well as other equipment and/or hazards that may be in the vicinity.
